With good ole turkey day closing in on us I am taking this opportunity to share what I am thankful for. Last week I started this on Facebook but this plan was foiled by my dieing modem.
I am thankful for my Lord and Savior. He paid the ultimate price for my sins before I was even born. He is always here for me and I can see him in all areas of my life. He has carried Michael and I through many a fire.
I am thankful for my wonderful husband. Michael is an amazing father and my dearest friend. Together it seems we are able to get through just about anything. He has often called me his cheerleader and here lately he has become mine. I am enjoying falling in love with him over and over again and again.
I am thankful for three healthy children. I have been so blessed to be given the privilege to love, nurture and grow these wonderful beings. I will be the first to admit that there are days when being a mommy is hard and I wonder if this is really my life. But it is and I love it every minute of it with them in my life is wonderful.
I am thankful for wonderful friends namely Lindsey, Brandy, Ellen and Jennifer. I have learned that some friends are for real and some are not. But these are true ones that I have been blessed with. True friends are a precious jewel and hard to find. I treasure mine beyond measure.
I am thankful for family all the crazy bunch of them. We are all a little dysfunctional but in the end we have each others backs and would lay our lives down for the other. I think my mother would be a little sad about how distant we seem to be sometimes but in the end we are family and you know what they say blood is thicker than water. And this family is wonderful!
I know that these seem simple and I could go on but this is my short list and I just wanted to share.
What a precious list. I am so thankful for you as well, and don't fret, simple is best. When you're blessings are simple enough to fit into a few paragraphs then you know you're living the good life because it shouldn't take anymore than health, happiness and inner peace to keep us going.
