Just don't beat yourself up if you don't stick to every detail of your plan everyday. Just commit to trying harder the next day.

I imagine if I weren't committed to going to the gym four days a week, that I might be inclined to stay in my pj's too long, but having that motivation makes it easier to get up and get dressed - although I don't put on a lick of make-up because it would be a waste of good product.

Additionally, I know I have to drive Amelia to school everyday so getting dressed is necessary for that as well. I see a good many moms who pull up to the door at school looking as though they've just rolled out of bed; but, I assure you, Amelia would walk the almost 10 miles to school before she'd let me take her while wearing my night clothes.

I always make it a point to get up about an hour before the girls so I can have eaten, drank my coffee and gotten dressed before they open their eyes. On those rare days when I hit snooze too many times, I feel like our whole routine has gone to hell in a handbasket so I do my best to make this happen every morning.

Now, the weekends are a different story entirely. It's not out of the ordinary to find one, or all of us, still in our pj's at noon on the weekends. We're VERY laid back on Saturdays and Sundays.Brandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10473155650880276686noreply@blogger.com
